| ImQuant's technology uses data created during "imaging to tailor cancer treatments and other medical therapies to individuals, and to objectify treatment- and diagnosis-related decision-making. ImQuant hypothesizes that a tumor or other region of interest can serve as its own in vivo (in body) assay to guide chemotherapy, radiation therapy, surgical planning, image-based diagnosis, and other cancer-related clinical applications. The system also has the potential to guide non-oncologic pharmacologic interventions in neurology, neuropsychiatry, and other medical disciplines. The assay can be used predictively, but also dynamically - to modify treatment once therapy has already been initiated. |

| ImQuant has pursued an aggressive patenting strategy, covering both its imaging format and a large series of processes designed to incorporate quantified images into clinical decision-making. Thus far, ImQuant has secured two U.S patents.
